The Life of Henry Fairchild, presented by Eric Rivet, takes place on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 7:30 pm at the Historic Brownhelm School & Museum, 1940 North Ridge Road in Vermilion.
The Civil War affected the lives of every American in the 1860s. For combat veterans, their time in battle frequently impacted the rest of their lives as well. Brownhelm native Henry Fairchild was no exception. Fairchild served throughout the war and fought at Gettysburg with the 7th Ohio Infantry, where he received a wound that completely changed his life.
Join BHA Trustee Eric Rivet for a presentation on the life of Henry Fairchild, based on research using materials from the Brownhelm Historical Association's genealogical collection. Come out and listen to this fascinating story!
